Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) ๐Ÿ”

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (AKA OCD) is a long-lasting mental health condition where people get frequently obsessive, engage in repetitious behaviour, and have uncontrollable thoughts.

This type of behaviour can of course be bad for someone's health, but thankfully there are ways to mitigate the effects of it, although some conditions may be worse than others.

One treatment of OCD that doesn't require medication, is fidget toys! Even if you're an adult, playing with a fidget toy while under stress can really reduce the affects of your other compulsions, as you are more so focusing on your toy which distracts you.

Another way of preventing your OCD, is by training. Train yourself to not give in to your compulsions, and with enough time and pathence you may actually have treated your OCD slightly.

With a lot of other mental health problems, it's important to speak to a psychiatrist or professional, as they will have better understandings of your conditions, and will provide the resources necessary to help you!

If they don't, please try to find someone who will! ๐Ÿซถ
